Waste Plan
The South London Waste Plan
Landfill space is running out and buried waste releases climate-changing gases. Therefore, new ways of dealing with waste are needed. Croydon, Kingston, Merton and Sutton are working together to meet this challenge by developing the South London Waste Plan.
So far there have been three stages of consultation on the South London Waste Plan. The responses that have been received to date will help develop the final version of the South London Waste Plan which will now be published for your consultation in October-November 2010.
