  1. On entry to the Car Park press the ticket issue button on the machine.
  2. (Bittoms Only - Monday to Friday) - Fee paying parkers are prohibited from the areas and bays of the car park marked by the Surrey County Council logo. These areas include the whole of the outside forecourt area and all the upper levels of the car park beyond the boundary marked on the floor surface of Level 7. You may park anywhere else within the car park building save for the designated ‘Blue Badge’ holders bays
  3. For your security do not leave your parking ticket in your car while parked in the car park, take it with you.
  4. On returning to the car park, insert your parking ticket into one of the Pay Station machines. The machine will show the amount you have to pay. Payment may be made by cash or alternatively all major credit/debit cards, except American Express are accepted.
  5. After payment, retrieve your ticket and return to your vehicle.
  6. On leaving, insert your ticket into the exit machine. The barrier will rise to allow you to leave the car park.

Park Mark Safer Parking Award

The Council-run Bittoms, The Rose (formerly Drapers) and Cattle Market car parks along with Seven Kings and five other Kingston Town Centre car parks have all been awarded the Safer Parking PARK MARK award. Additionally, Ashdown Road surface car park has been included where CCTV surveillence cameras have been installed.

In New Malden, Blagdon Road Multi-Storey and Malden Centre car parks have also been incorporated into the scheme.

The Park Mark scheme, run by the British Parking Association and the Association of Chief Police Officers, aims to encourage car park operators to improve security standards to reduce crime and the fear of crime in car parks. These car parks have been assessed by the Police and have measures in place to deter criminal activity, creating a safer environment for you and your vehicle. Visit 'www.saferparking.co.uk' for more information

The annual award follows Council investment in security measures including extensive CCTV and Help Point systems at the Cattle Market and The Rose Car Park along with improved lighting and redecoration at both both these car parks and at the Bittoms
