Trading Standards
The Trading Standards service provides services to ensure that a system of fair trading operates in the Borough for the benefit of both businesses which trade here as well as to consumers who live and shop here. We also provide a licensing service for some explosives registrations and Mail Forwarding businesses.

Making a Complaint
Finding a Reputable Tradesperson
TrustMark is a scheme supported by the Government, consumer groups and building industry to help you find reputable tradespeople. If a tradesperson displays the TrustMark logo you know that a trade association or other certification organisation has checked the trader and found that they meet certain standards that the Government has set.
