Kingston athletes achieve fantastic results at the Mini London Marathon on Sunday 22 April 2012. A top three finish was recorded by Katie Ilife from Tiffin Girls with a time of 18 mins 27 seconds for the three miles.

Touch Tolworth is a project set up to provide a gentle reintroduction to rugby for adults 40 years+ of all abilities and fitness. The evening is coach led and will reintroduce you to the oval shape that is the rugby ball! Whether it is about rediscovering sporting abilities you forgot you had; getting active again; or having a drink in the Tolworth Rec bar afterwards, it really is about having fun and enjoying the sport.

The Olympic Games will be held in London between 27 July (opening ceremony) and 12 August 2012, with the Paralympic Games taking place between 29 August (opening ceremony) and 9 September 2012.
But you don't have to wait until then to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Olympics - Kingston's Cultural Programme provides you with a unique opportunity to be involved with special events taking place in Kingston and across the Capital in the build up to the Games.

INSPIRE (INclusive SPort In Recreation and Exercise) is open to anybody with a disability/special needs aged 8 to 80 and gives you the opportunity to play various sports such as: basketball, cricket, short tennis, volleyball, plus much more.
Sessions are every fortnight 6pm to 8pm and costs £4.00 per session (term time only).There is no need to book just come along on the day. The sessions take place at Chessington Sports Centre, Garrison Lane, Chessington KT9 2JS.
