If your child was born between 1 September 2004 and 31 August 2005 they are due to start primary school in September 2009. You will have needed to apply for a place between 13 October 2008 and 5 December 2008.

Please contact School Admissions for further information if you have not yet applied for a primary school (Reception class) place for September 2009.

Admission to Reception Class in 2009 - Additional Places

Following increased demand for admission to the Reception year in 2009, the Council has increased the number of places in ten schools in response to parents' preferences.

A total of 300 additional places have been added and this includes the 5 extra classes which were announced in the autumn term.
