People across Kingston are being invited to share their views on what they need from their local pharmacy.

The Kingston Health and Wellbeing Board is asking residents to take part in a survey to get a better understanding of how pharmaceutical services are used across the borough and how they would like pharmacies to support them in the future.

The survey forms part of a community needs assessment that must be completed every three years by the Kingston Health and Wellbeing Board, called a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (sometimes known as a ‘PNA’). This work is important in determining pharmacy service provision in Kingston.

The survey has been developed by a steering group on behalf of the Health and Wellbeing Board and is designed to check whether or not services are equally accessible to everyone who is entitled to them, identify and address barriers and understand what changes may be needed to future services.

The survey can be completed online on the Kingston Let’s Talk portal at www.kingstonletstalk.co.uk/pna-2022, or paper versions are available at local pharmacies and libraries. Residents can also call 020 8547 5000 and ask for the Public Health Single Point of Contact to give their responses over the phone. All responses must be completed by 10 December 2021.
