Kingston Council to work with local communities to transform South of the Borough

The South of the Borough Neighbourhood Committee is inviting ideas for community projects to transform the Neighbourhood.

Kingston Council has funds available to spend on community projects in the South of the Borough (Tolworth and Hook Rise Ward, Chessington North and Hook Ward and Chessington South Ward). The money comes from the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), which has been collected from the new developments built in the area.

Councillor Lorraine Dunstone, Chair of the Neighbourhood Committee, said:

“Your feedback will be used to inform the Neighbourhood Committee about the wishes of those they represent when looking at how to authorise the spend of the Neighbourhood Section of CIL. We encourage anyone with an interest in the neighbourhood, those who live, work and visit the area  to give us their views.”

To take part, please visit kingstonletstalk.co.uk/southoftheboroughprojects and provide your thoughts and ideas by Friday 15 October 2021. Should you require any further information, please contact richard.dean@kingston.gov.uk or call 020 8547 5000.
