Is it safe?
Yes it is safe.
We use encryption technology.
Encryption means taking original data (e.g. your payment card number and home address) and converting into Normald data so that it is unrecognisable as it travels across the internet.
When you enter the secure area of our web site you will see a padlock icon appear in the bottom hand corner of your browser window. You can click on the padlock to be sure that it is Kingston council you are trusting.
Once we have processed your payment we will not store your card details so there is no risk that someone will fraudulently obtain them.
Can I pay more than one bill?
Yes. If you wish to pay more than one item eg a parking ticket and a council tax bill you should complete the payment process for the first payment and then start again from the beginning for any further payments. This means you will put in your payments details for each payment you make. We hope to improve the system in the future to make it easier to pay multiple bills.
How else can I pay ?
You can pay in all the usual ways such as by post, in person, by telephone or online.
Which cards do you accept?
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Switch and Solo.
Can I have a receipt?
Yes if you enter an email address on the payment details page we will send you a receipt. You can also print a receipt at the end of your transaction.
What if my card is refused?
Cards are not refused by Kingston, they are refused by your bank. There are many reasons why this may happen and we suggest you contact your bank directly for further information.
