Credit Card Commission Charging
We add a commission charge of 1.04% for services / events paid for by credit card.
This is to cover the cost of the commission charges the Council has to pay to our credit card providers for payments made by credit card. Customers are not charged for making payment by debit card.
A surcharge is payable for all services where you use a credit card. The exceptions are:
- Planning
- Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages
