Wireless Hotspots

Much of Kingston is now covered by Wireless Hotspots thanks to the introduction of 10 iPlus Information Points and our traffic camera at the Villier's Road Household Reuse and Recycling Centre (HRRC / Tip).

A key feature of the new iPlus Information Points is their ability to act as a wireless hotspot with a range of 30m allowing laptop and PDA’s with wireless ability to link up for free to the internet.  The traffic camera has a similar ability, with an even greater, 100m range.  All of this goes to make Kingston one of Europe's first urban wireless networks, making it easier than ever for visitors and residents of Kingston to be more efficient and productive when they are away from their homes and offices.

The location of these wireless hotspots can be found below

  • Hook, Ace Parade
