Our commitment

We provide a wide range of services to people who live in, work in or visit the borough.  We want to help create the best opportunities, services and environment for the people of the borough of Kingston.

We need your help to make sure we are providing the right things in the right way.

How to make a complaint, a comment, or sort out a problem

There may be times when you want to comment on a good service, or suggest how we could improve things.

Sometimes things go wrong. When this happens, you may want to complain and be sure that we take your complaint seriously.

You can use the online comments or complaints form. You may want to report a fault such as a street light which doesn’t work, or a broken pavement slab.To do so contact us by phone (020 8547 5929) or using an online form.

Contacting us

You can make a complaint in the following ways.

  • On our website

    You can fill in a on-line form (this includes complaints about how a Freedom of Information Request is dealt with). There is a Freedom of Information form for requests under the Freedom of Information Act.
  • By phone

    A phone call can help to solve many problems. There is a list of specific department phone numbers in the table below or you can contact us by on 020 8547 5929.
  • In person

    You can arrange to see the person responsible for providing the service. Please make an appointment to make sure that you see the right person and that you have enough time to go over the details of your complaint. You can do this by phoning the appropriate number from the list below or by writing directly to the department responsible.
  • By letter

    Write to the department responsible for the service you are complaining about and send it to:
