Each month a wide variety of arts and cultural activities take place in the borough.
We are responsible for developing the arts in Kingston through work with schools, artists, arts and cultural organisations, ethnic minorities, festival and event organisers. Our arts unit can also advise on grants for all sorts of projects and programmes, as well as provide information on funding, creative industries and arts opportunities in schools.

To find out whats on this month, please see our Arts Diary.
We are currently looking for ideas for Think-In-Kingston 2008. Please submit our online form with your comments and suggestions.
If you are looking for local and national arts organisations, you will find them listed under our Arts and Cultural Organisation page. If you are interested in arts development in schools, our Arts Directory will help you find contact information.
We also provide information on grants, sponsorship, training and creative industry contacts through our Funding and Creative Industries page.
If you are interested in the arts and you wish to hear all the news, and find out about activities and events, please read our ARK Newsletter.

Kingston has a wealth of creative talent. Each summer we hold an open art exhibition for anyone to enter who lives, works or studies in the borough. The Kingston Contemporary Open exhibition takes place at the beginning of July and is an annual collaboration between Kingston University, Kingston College and the borough.
The work of various artists living in the borough can be viewed on our online gallery - photography, painting, prints, illustrations, pottery and sculpture are all respresented. Each artist has their own page with contact details for anyone interested in viewing or buying work. To visit the Online Art Gallery follow the link at the bottom of the page.
If you are looking for a venue to hire for a meeting or arts event please see our Venue Guide.
