Cupcake Decorating Workshop from 10am - 12 noon
Feeling creative? Come along and learn to make flowers to decorate your cupcakes. Tickets cost £5 and places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. You will need to bring along some items with you, so check before you book.
Half term activity
Monday 13 February 2.30 - 3.30pmDesign and make a heart-shaped basket and decorate a hanging heart and card. For ages 4 - 11. Tickets £1.50 per child, vailable from the library.
Computer Classes
It's Never Too Late To Learn Beginners Computer Course
The next 4 week taught course will run from Monday 20 February - 12 March, 2 - 4pm. Cost: £24. The course will cover the basics of using the computer, mouse and keyboard, basic word processing, using the Internet, searching for information and e-mail. Fridays Baby and Toddler Rhyme Time for 0 to 3 year olds 10.30am to 11am. (Term time only). Sessions get very busy and have limited spaces so please get there early.
Saturday Rhyme Time
10.30 to 11am.
Once a month. Rhymes, music, songs and stories for 0 - 3 year olds. This session is open to all, however fathers and male carers are particularly welcome. Dates for 2012 so far are: 4 February, 10 March, 14 April, 12 May, 23 June.
Want to talk about what you’ve been reading, listen to what others think about the books they’ve been reading and do book-related puzzles and activities? Come along to Chatterbooks from 4.15 - 5.15pm on the first Thursday of every month. For children aged 7-11.
This session runs every Wednesday afternoon 2.45pm to 4.15pm. New Malden IT Suite are running sessions to help any unemployed people who want to use the facilities to help them get back to work. We are offering opportunities for:
- IT training and certification
- Help with producing a CV
- Searching on line for jobs
- Downloading job applications
- Applying for jobs online
Fortnightly on Saturdays from 9.30am to 11.30am. This session is a chance to help older people become more confident in using computers. Tickets £1.50 per session.
