
Kingston Arts Council is the umbrella organisation for arts societies within the borough and is responsible for overseeing artistic activities and supporting numerous affiiliated organisations and individuals.

Kingston Arts Council received strategic status in 2006 to represent the artistic commmunity in the borough with funding secured for 3 years to establish KAC as leader and mentor for the arts.

Kingston Arts Council has a membership of approximately 55 local societies. These range from drama and theatre groups for young people to photography clubs, art clubs and choirs and orchestras.
