The Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) process is designed to assess whether a policy or service disproportionately disadvantages black and minority ethnic groups, disabled people or women (men).
Normally, an initial screening exercise is undertaken to assess possible disproportionate disadvantage to minority groups. However, some of the initial screening forms completed in the Chief Executives Directorate contained a sufficient level of detail to constitute full EQIA's and are therefore included in this section.
