European Parliament elections in the UK - 4 June 2009
The European Parliamentary election took place on 4 June 2009 in the UK to elect Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
All 27 member states will have elections from 4 to 7 June 2009 with almost 500 million European citizens eligible to vote. The 785 MEPs are elected for a five-year term.
