Partnership and Regeneration Unit
There are three core elements of service support:ยท
- Professional support, information and advice to the business sector, sub-regional agencies and key borough stakeholders to secure regeneration and economic development within the borough;
- Professional information, research and policy analysis for all directorates of the Council and for external organisations;
- To develop international relationships and identify EU and other funding opportunities to support appropriate partnership projects.
Specific services delivered by the Council's Partnership and Regeneration Unit include:
- Business property information
- Identification and delivery of development opportunities
- Planning, development and regeneration advice
- Grants and funding information
- Publication of RBK Business Directory and Inward Investment brochure
- Gateway to other Council services relevant to businesses
- Referral service to other local business support agencies
- Working with partner organisations to develop business related initiatives in the Royal Borough
- Research and data analysis
- All aspects of 2001 Census dissemination and analysis
- Supporting the development of joint cultural, social and business projects with Stadt Oldenburg and other new partner cities/regions
- Providing EU funding information and support to other directorates in developing bids and projects.
