In addition to the executive decision making process, Kingston also has a small number of other Committees and Panels. Many of these deal with regulatory matters such as determining planning and licensing applications.

A full list of the our committees, including details on membership and copies of the agenda and minutes, can be found below.

This committee deals with larger planning applications. Smaller applications are determined by the local Neighbourhood Committee (often at a separate planning sub-committee meeting) or by council officers under delegated powers.
