Other Committees and Panels

In addition to the executive decision making process, Kingston also has a small number of other Committees and Panels. Many of these deal with regulatory matters such as determining planning and licensing applications.

Committees include:

Development Control Committee

Deals with larger planning applications. Smaller applications are determined by the local Neighbourhood Committee (often at a separate planning sub-committee meeting) or by council officers under delegated powers.
