In 2005, Kingston Council's Chief Executive, Bruce McDonald, signed up to Film London's Partnership for Location Filming in London.
This declares Kingston Council's intention to operate within the guidelines of the Best Practice Guide for Filming in London Boroughs (Film London, 2005).
Kingston Council's filming policy, adopted in July 2005, has been developed in line with the Best Practice Guide.
In return, the Partnership Document requests that all film-makers and their crew adhere to the Location Filming in London Code of Practice.
Any film-makers operating in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames are required to observe the guidelines contained in this document at all times.
