We are committed to making the information on this website universally accessible. Every reasonable effort is being made to ensure that the website can be accessed by everyone, regardless of what operating system, software, equipment, etc. you are using, and regardless of any disability.

The website has been designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in mind, and has been further enhanced through feedback from real people. We have also commissioned some testing of the site by people with disabilities, have resolved any problems they reported, and have implemented their feedback wherever possible.

We are also committed to the use of Plain English and avoid the use of jargon wherever possible.

We are aware that the online mapping and geographical information system, ISIS, does not currently conform to accessibility guidelines and we are working to ensure that all of the information within that system is also available on pages which are fully accessible.
