Street Cleansing
We are responsible for the street cleansing throughout the Borough on all-public roads and pavements. The cleansing consists of the collection and removal of all litter and dirt including grit, detritus, debris, blossom, leaves, dead vegetation, excreta, cans, cartons, paper, debris from road traffic accidents and any other waste matter from the highways. The frequency of cleansing varies from continuous daily town centres to fortnightly in most residential streets.

Street Cleansing Requiring Immediate Attention
We are responsible for cleansing services which require remedial action within one hour. We operate to remove oil and paint spillages, dangerous or hazardous fly-tips, debris from road traffic accidents and dead animals. If you need to report any of the above, please contact us.
