Hogsmill River tributaries within the Royal Borough include the Bonesgate Stream, which links the Hogsmill River to open agricultural land in the south of the Borough, and the tributary known locally as Tolworth Brook, which links the Hogsmill River through the Berrylands area to the new Millennium Green and Alexandra Park.
The Hogsmill Valley Walk was created to help local (and not-so-local) residents in their appreciation and enjoyment of the Hogsmill Valley. Following the Hogsmill River and then the Bonesgate Stream in the South of the Borough the Hogsmill Valley Walk takes walkers through a mix of urban countryside, wide grassy paths and open fields. And so that you don’t get lost along the way we’ve put together a couple of handy guides:
Future development and management of the Hogsmill Valley Walk is covered by the Hogsmill Valley Walk Strategy, which was adopted by the Council in 2002 and revised in 2006. The Strategy sets out our goals for the future of the Hogsmill Valley Walk within the Royal Borough of Kingston.
