The Strategic Services Division is a key part of the Chief Executive's Department, providing a vital range of strategic and corporate services - helping the Council work better for the benefit of our residents. We form the strategic centre and take an active and leading role in developing the Council's strategic policies and programmes.
Through the Council's policy programme and improvement programme, we are at the forefront of change in guiding better ways of delivering services and improving the way we work as a Council. This gives us an important role in delivering on our corporate commitment to deliver the best services and environment to the people of the Royal Borough. We are responsible for key inititatives such as Public Acesss, Improving Services, Best Value, eServices, Public Consultation and engagement and community involvement.
