There are many activities or situations that occur on the highway that can annoy or endanger the public.  We are responsible for protecting the public from dangers caused by the misuse and abuse of the highway. This includes overhanging trees, overgrown hedges and unauthorised skips and scaffolding on the highway.

You can report any abuse of public streets, roads and footpaths to us. It is our duty to investigate the situation and, if necessary, take appropriate action to resolve the problem.
