Sky Rides are comming to Kingston!

This summer why not explore Kingston on two wheels?

To celebrate the borough's hosting of the Olympic road races, Kingston Council has teamed up with British Cycling to offer ten local Sky Rides for cyclists of all abilities.

The guided rides are ranked as easy, steady, well and strong. Simply choose a ride that suits you and your family and log on to the Sky Ride website to register your place on a ride. The first ride is on 24 june and they run regularly through until 23 September.

Celebrate A Summer of Cycling Sunday 24 June

Kingston Council’s cycling team, will be hosting a free event in June to celebrate cycling in Kingston.  

Bike maintenance and cycling tips: Kingston Gate, Richmond Park, Sunday 7 August, 10am – 2pm

If you’re thinking about starting cycling, or haven’t cycled for a while come along to Kingston Gate where our cycle trainers will spend the day giving cycling enthusiasts advice on how to stay safe on the roads as well as top tips for looking after your bike.

A free Dr Bike will be on hand to carry out adjustments, repairs and offer bike maintenance advice, plus there will be cycling competitions and refreshments.

Kingston Council is working with businesses in Kingston to reduce traffic congestion and is offering free travel planning for anyone commuting in or out of Kingston to surrounding boroughs or London. So if you want to give public transport, cycling or walking a try you can get all the information you will need by completing the online form at the link below.
