This year will see the Town Centre turned into interactive zones with lots of different activities that adults and kids alike can come and experience. Activities and entertainment includes: wandering entertainment such as the Fashion Police and Granny Turismo, performances by Kingston University students, aerial gymnastics displays from local aerialist Katie Hardwick in the Ancient Market Place, birds of prey, Kids’ Corner in Memorial Gardens, Punch & Judy Show on All Saints' Church lawn, circus skills workshop, Craft & Gift Fair, local choirs and live music from ‘Soul Beat’ Articulate Music and Kingston Youth Big Band.

A free family event will see a wide range of family activities take place on at King Edward's recreation ground with fun and games for all the family with children’s entertainers, Punch and Judy shows, bouncy castle, children’s rides and a variety of stalls. Activity proceeds to local Charities.

After 21 years, on 14 October 2012 the popular RunKingston event will evolve to become something even bigger and better – the Kingston Run Challenge!
Warm yourself in October by taking part in this challenging run, starting in Kingston town centre. Entries are now open for races: 8.2miles, 16miles, 24 miles individual and 24 miles relay.
