The care scheme is a free service run by volunteers to help when family and the statutory services can't, not to replace, but to fill the gap.
They provide assistance with shopping and transport for doctors appointments, hairdressers etc, visits to the housebound, small garden jobs, and minor house repairs. The care scheme can only function well if we have sufficient volunteers and the donations we rely on. If you feel you have a few hours to spare, however limited, your assistance would be appreciated.
If you need our services or any information, please call 020 8397 6298, when a duty officer will give you any information, 9am to 12 noon Monday to Friday. At other times there is an answerphone to take messages. Please leave your name and number and we will get back to you.
