
The Guildhall has three rooms for hire on the first floor and is most suitable for corporate/business events. Wheelchair access is available at the front of the building, and induction loops are installed in each of the rooms.
Rooms available are:
Queen Anne Suite: 14.6 x 9.75 metres (48 x 32 feet)
Council Chamber: 20.9 x 9.75 metres (68.5 x 32 feet)
Committee Room 1: 6.85 x 9.75 metres (22.5 x 32 feet)
The Council Chamber and Committee Room 1 can hired together and the dividing wall can be removed to create a larger room measuring 27.75 x 9.75 metres (91 x 32 feet).

The Market House comprises of two rooms on the first floor and has a stairlift (carer required to assist). The building is situated in the ancient Market Place, and is suitable for wedding receptions, meetings, parties and market research.
Rooms available are:
Main Hall: 11 x 6 metres (36 x 19.5 feet)
Ante Chamber: 5.6 x 6.7 metres (18.5 x 22 feet)
Please note that due to fire safety regulations the maximum number of people who can be accommodated in the Market House meeting rooms is 110.
