Global Arts Kingston aims to foster a rich mix of culturally diverse arts activities in the borough. Projects include developing opportunities for artists from black and ethnic communities. It has presented numerous events since its inception in 2001 such as Bollywood and Beyond fashion and dance shows. Global Arts also participates in other major local celebrations. MeWe Art & Education is a vibrant youth organisation delivering quality performing arts projects and cultural based education. Their core purpose is to educate and uplift young people, particularly those with fewer chances to enjoy quality projects. Their extensive portfolio includes productions, school-tours, workshops and tuition led by qualified practitioners and our award-winning youth theatre company. MeWe has provided services to partner organisations and at community level since 2001 and is affiliated to the National Association of Youth Theatres. They work with 1000's of children and young people throughout the year, delivering innovative theatre-in-education projects and inspiring performances in theatre and dance.
