"My husband and I haven’t lived in Kingston for long. Soon after we moved into our new home my husband, who I married 65 years ago (and he is still my sweetheart), had a stroke in February 2008.
I was heartbroken when I was told he could not come home to me, as he needed 24 hour care and would have to go into a nursing home when he left hospital.
The home he went into is called Hobkirk House, New Malden. I do want to thank them so much for the wonderful care they have given him. The staff work so well together. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I visit every day. To see Jack so well looked after is a relief for me. He’s always clear and fresh, looking lovely.
The staff are so kind to me and my family and one couldn’t ask for better treatment. They are all my heroes.
I am so grateful to the wonderful work they are doing for all the residents there. I can see how good they are. Three cheers for them from my family and myself."
