We offer many different services and types of support for people with a physical disability, a health problem and those affected by HIV and their carers living in the Royal Borough of Kingston. We can provide:
Before we can offer you our services we will need to talk to you about your care and support needs. This is called an assessment. We only provide services to people who have or are soon likely to have 'Critical' or 'Substantial' needs. Our leaflet called 'Helping adults keep safe and independent' tells you more about our services and how we decide who we help.

'Stay independent factsheets' - We have produced several factsheets on key topics for disabled people and older people, for example, 'Help with heating and insulating your home', 'Accessible transport options' and 'Holidays and holiday grants'. (See below under 'Also see').
Information for disabled people - These web pages offer some useful information including information on education and learning, access to leisure and culture and health and social care. (See below under 'Also see').
NHS choices - This is a useful website offering a wide range of health information and advice including medical advice, help to find health services, tips on keeping healthy and some useful guides on several health conditions such as Asthma, Heart disease, Diabetes and Stroke. Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) - The DLA provides free, impartial advice about all types of equipment for disabled people and older people including stairlifts, walk-in baths, jar openers, tap turners, bath seats walking sticks, wheelchairs, scooters and hoists. National Centre for Independent Living - The Centre is a useful resource for independent living and direct payments for disabled people and others. (See below under 'Related External Links').
