Bulky Waste Collections
This service is for Kingston residents only, for the collection of household items too large to fit in to a black sack or wheeled bin.
We will collect up to four 4 bulky waste items for the a charge of £30, and between 5 and 8 items for £50.
We do not collect the following items:
•Garden waste – please see details of our garden waste collection service
•Any item too large or heavy for 2 people to lift safely
•Hazardous waste e.g. asbestos, gas bottles or chemicals (please see details of our hazardous waste collection service)
•Car batteries, engines, tyres or other car parts
•Paint
•Plasterboard or cement
•Internal or external doors, windows or window frames
•Full or part bathroom suites, shower cubicles, screens and trays
•Fence panels, greenhouses or sheds
•Boilers, radiators, water tanks and storage heaters
•Rubble, soil, bricks, tiles or stones
The service is not provided for landlords or other property managers and it is not for any sort of trade or commercial waste.
We will accept up to 4 black bags of waste as one item. All other items count individually.
Collection arrangements
To book a collection please call our Customer Contact Centre on 020 8547 5002 (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm) or email environment@rbk.kingston.gov.uk.
Items for collection must be placed at the front of your property on the specified collection day. Collections cannot be made from inside properties.
