The walk along the Hogmill Valley in Kingston is approximately 7km long and should take about 3 hours to complete. The Hogsmill is a chalk stream which is formed in the North Downs, rising to ground level in Ewell and joining the Thames in Kingston. The walk will take you through urban countryside, along wide grassy paths and finally to into open fields, following the course of the river most of the way.

Kingston's stripy friend encourages children to walk to school more all year round. Why not try one of Debra's treasure hunts on the weekend or after school. They are designed for parents to undertake with their children (suitable for four to eight years). Treasure hunts are available fo Kingston, New Malden, Surbiton and Chessington and take about 30 minutes to complete.
Sometimes things change! If you notice a direction on the map which needs updating, please email the change to travel.awareness@rbk.kingston.gov.uk or call 020 8547 5865. Many thanks
