Bike Week 2008

Bike Week 2008 - 14 to 22 June

adult bike training course group shot

This year's Bike Week takes place from 14 to 22 June 2008. It is an annual opportunity to celebrate the freedom that a bicycle gives you and to promote cycling as a source of fitness and fun. Bike Week challenges everyone, from total novices to passionate cyclists, to get out of their cars, step away from the TV and get on their bikes!

This year bike week has a focus on promoting cycling as a way of bringing families together.  Providing a great opportunity for quiet family time as well as an opportunity to reduce each family’s carbon footprint.  Kingston council is organising a whole host of exciting events to give Kingston residents lots of opportunities to get on their bikes.
