Fairfield South

NEW - ROAD CLOSED
22 June 2009 - 20 July 2009
On Monday 22 June 2009 in Fairfield South, Kingston upon Thames, R J Dance Contractors on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames will be reconstructing both footways as part of the annual maintenance ce programme. Fairfield South, west bound only, between Villiers Road and Knight’s Park will be closed to all vehicular traffic. (e.g. traffic travelling towards kingston town centre) Diversion via Albert Road, London Road, Fairfield North, and Wheatfield Way. Programmed end date 20/7/09 Delays expected

Richmond Road

NEW - DELAYS POSSIBLE
26 May 2009 - 04 June 2009
On Tuesday 26 May 2009 at 10am in Richmond Road at the junction with Latchmere Road, Skanska on behalf of BT will be installing a new cable duct requiring a full road crossing. Traffic will be controlled by temporary three way signals. The work is programmed to lost for 10 days. During times of concrete curing no workforce will be on site.

Coombe Lane West

Ewell Road

IN PROGRESS - DELAYS POSSIBLE
19 May 2009 - 22 May 2009
On Tuesday 19 May 2009 at 10am outside 259 Ewell Road, Surbiton about 25 yards south of Hollyfield Road, Cappagh Group on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames started work repairing a collapsed gully. The work is programmed to take 4 days. The Ewell Road southbound has been reduced to a single lane Delays expected.

Steadfast Roadf

NEW - PLANNED WORKS

On Wednesday 20 May 2009 between 10am and 4pm in Steadfast Road, Kingston upon Thames Network Rail will be pruning overhanging tree branches. The lane running alongside the railway embankment will be closed as a safety area.

Wood Street

NEW - PLANNED WORKS
18 May 2009 - 19 May 2009
On Monday 18 May 2009 at 8pm in Wood Street, Kingston upon Thames, GR3 will be replacing five glass panels in the elevated pedestrian walkway. Wood Street will be reduced to a single lane in both directions. The off side lane will be closed off as a safety zone. The work is programmed to last for eight hours. All traffic management programmed to be off by 4am on Tuesday 19 May 2009.

London Road

IN PROGRESS - PLANNED WORKS
07 January 2008 - 30 April 2009
On Monday 7 January 2008 in London Road (A308), Kingston upon Thames, Thames Water will start a major flood relief scheme, after 18 months of planning. The scheme will build a new surface water pipe the whole length of London Road at a depth of 7 metres. The Contractor will start on 14 January 2008. UPDATE 20/11/08 The programme is running 5 months behind schedule with shafts in Station Road and the car park at the side of Burnham Street. All work in London Road Completed SCHEME COMPLETED APRIL 2009
