| NEW - PLANNED WORKS 07 January 2008 - 28 November 2008 On Monday 7 January 2008 in London Road (A308), Kingston upon Thames, Thames Water will start a major flood relief scheme, after 18 months of planning. The scheme will build a new surface water pipe the whole length of London Road at a depth of 7 metres. The Contractor will start on 14 January 2008 at the junctions of Queen Elizabeth Road and Albert Road by constructing two shafts 10 metres deep to install the jacking gear. Traffic will be reduced to a single alternative traffic flow controlled by temporary signals. No delays expected |
