Road Safety Plan

Kingston's Local Implementation Plan (LIP) is designed to help us overcome some of the current transport problems that affect us locally and is a part of the London-wide transport strategy.

The LIP is designed to improve the environment in the Borough. This will require each person who lives, works and travels in the Borough to think more about the way in which they travel and encourage others to use more sustainable modes of transport.

Greater road safety and improved public transport, cycling and walking facilities will help us to reach the Council's transport strategy by 2011.
