In Zone A/A1 the following roads will not be included:- Avenue Road, Milner Road, The Bittoms and Woodbines Avenue.
In Zone B only Acre Road (part), East Road (part), Canbury Park Road (part), Cowleaze Road, Elm Crescent and Elm Grove will have the extended controls..

In order to improve conditions for pedestrians and cyclists and remove hazards caused by
unlawful or badly parked vehicles as well as improving access for emergency service vehicles Kingston Town Neighbourhood Committee have approved an experimental traffic management order which extends the access controls for the Market Place between the existing closure and the junction with Eden Street.
Access will only be permitted for loading only between 6am and 10am and between 4pm and 6pm on Monday to Saturday. There will be no access for any vehicles on Sundays.
The new arrangements came into force on Monday 25 February 2008.

In common with other London boroughs, the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames has amended the restrictions which apply to loading and unloading on single or double yellow lines. The previous restrictions (no waiting limit before 11.00am or after 6.30pm and 20 minutes maximum waiting between 11.00am and 6.30pm) have been amended to a maximum period of 40 minutes throughout controlled hours. For a 12 week period from 9th June Cattle Market underground car park will undergo a major refurbishment involving new floor treatments, colour coded parking bays and pedestrian walkways.
This will necessitate alternately closing off one of the two basement levels whilst it is being worked on.
Alternative parking can be found at Seven Kings multi storey car park, Ashdown Road surface car park and Canbury Place surface car park.
