If you intend to come to the Rose Theatre by car, The Rose (formerly Drapers) Car Park is less than two minutes walk away from the Theatre and will cost only £1 from 6.30pm to midnight. (entry before 6.30pm costs £1.20 per hour).
For those customers arriving after 6.30pm, it is advisable to avoid the after theatre queues of customers waiting to pay at the parking pay stations by paying as you go to the theatre. Your £1 payment after 6.30pm is valid to midnight.
Both The Rose and Cattle Market (located in Fairfield North, 10 minutes away) car parks are open from 7.30am until midnight. For locations, opening times and charges for all Council car parks please click on the link at the bottom of this page.
Disabled Person's Blue Badge holders may park free of charge on the ground floor of The Rose Car Park, additionally there are two individual on-street disabled persons parking bays in the High Street opposite the Theatre, two located in East Lane, one outside The Guildhall and one In Bath Passage at the junction with St. James Road all less than 5 minutes walk away. A Coach stop has been provided in the High Street opposite the Rose Theatre. Coaches may only stop for a maximum of 30 minutes to load or unload.
After 30 minutes, the coach must be relocated to one of the Coach Stands located within the Town Centre area. A map showing the locations of the stands and charges is included in the pdf link shown below.
