Controlled Parking Zones
In a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) all kerbsides are marked out as either a parking bay or by yellow line parking restrictions. Each zone or sub-zone within the Special Parking Area of Kingston will have its individual times of parking control for on-street parking.
The hours of control and the days on which they apply for each zone or sub-zone are shown on large controlled Zone Entry signs which are placed on all roads at the entrance to a zone or sub-zone.
The hours of control are also shown on the Parking Meters or Pay and Display Machines within the zone. The meter or machine will also show the maximum period of time that you are allowed to park at that particular parking place.
The locations of parking bays, times of control and availability shown on this website are purely indicative and are subject to continuous review. Motorists must observe and obey all existing signs and lining in relation to any parking place.
Charges shown are for Pay and Display, Shared-Use and Meter Bays.

Kingston Town Centre CPZ – Zone A and A1
Please note that all parking restrictions within the Inner and Central town centre areas, including single yellow lines, permit parking bays, pay and display and meter bays are controlled and enforced on every day (including bank and public holidays) except Christmas Day.
