The Council-run Bittoms, The Rose (formerly Drapers) and Cattle Market car parks along with Seven Kings and five other Kingston Town Centre car parks have all been awarded the Safer Parking PARK MARK award.
Additionally, Ashdown Road surface car park has been included where CCTV surveillence cameras have been installed.
In New Malden, Blagdon Road Multi-Storey and Malden Centre car parks have also been incorporated into the scheme.
The Park Mark scheme, run by the British Parking Association and the Association of Chief Police Officers, aims to encourage car park operators to improve security standards to reduce crime and the fear of crime in car parks. These car parks have been assessed by the Police and have measures in place to deter criminal activity, creating a safer environment for you and your vehicle.
