Planned Highway Maintenance Programme
During the financial year 2007/2008, we will take on;
- Extensive Carriageway resurfacing
- Footway resurfacing
- Street lighting replacement
This is the result of a substantial increase in funding for highway maintenance in order to cost effectvely address the backlog of roads in need of repair and will continue over the next few years.
You will find the list of planned repairs below split by neighbourhood. Where the programme is indicated as 'TBA' (to be agreed), these works will be carried out within this financial year, but the resurfacing will not be done until other planned highway improvement works or Statutory Undertakers works (i.e Gas Board, Thames Water Utilities etc.) have been completed.
