Fixing Temporary Directional Signage on Street Furniture on a Public Highway Section 132 Highway Act 1980:
The Company must indemnify the council for any claims made against the Council for injury caused to pedestrians and /or vehicles during the course, or as a result of the company’s activities.
1.The Company will be responsible for any damage caused to street furniture during their activities whilst fixing signs to street furniture.
2.The Film Company will be responsible for supplying, erecting and removing from the highway all signage associated with the filming operation.
3.You must comply with all instructions issued by the Traffic Management Officer and/or the Licensing Officer.
4.If any condition are contravened the licensing authority may withdraw the licence without notice.
5.The Company must remove all signage on the expiry date of the licence.
6.The Council will use the refundable deposit to remove any signs not removed by the Company.
Charges for Considering an Application for Fixing Temporary Signage to Street Furniture on the Highway
1.A charge of £80 must be made in advance.
2.A refundable deposit of £50 per sign is required in advance.
