To celebrate June’s London Cycle Challenge and the 2012 Olympic Road Race coming through the borough, Kingston Council is running an ‘Imaging Cycling’ photography competition on the theme of ‘my cycling life’.
We are looking for pictures that represent the whole range of the cycling experience from picnics and wicker baskets to lycra and mountain bike mud.
A selection of the best pictures will form part of an exhibition to promote cycling in Kingston in the run up to the town’s hosting of the Olympic Road Race in 2012.
A panel of independent judges will choose the most outstanding photo and the photographer will win a compact digital camera and the two runners up will each receive cycling accessories worth over £50!
The closing date for entries is 12 September 2011 - so get snapping!
Full terms and conditions and details of how to submit your photos can be found on the Imaging Cycling Photography Competition page or by emailing cycling@rbk.kingston.gov.uk
