Guided tours through history covering Kingston and Surbiton, featuring Kings, Queens and some nasty villains, brought to life by experienced guides.
As one of Englands most historic towns, Kingston's ancient market place and riverside are full of sights and stories dating back to 838AD.
From the Coronation Stone of Saxon Kings to the coaching inns and exploits of the murderous highwayman Jerry Abershaw, and of course the intrigues of England's most famous King Henry VIII, every twist and turn of one of the best preserved medieval street layouts in Greater London brings new surprises.
Tales of characters, hauntings, tragedy and the story of the most famous dog in the world are all included on this most revealing stroll through history.
All Walks start at 2.30 and last approximately 1½ hours. Cost £3.
Kingston Tour Guides also present popular talks and slide shows on Kingston and Surbiton's history – ask about our themed walks.
