In attendance on the day to support and view the sports on display was The Worshipful the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Councillor Chrissie Hitchcock; Cllr Sharon Hartley, the new member representative for the London Youth Games; Cllr Umesh Parekh; Ian Dobie, Kingstons LYG sponsor CEO of St George PLC West London; Adrian Pearman, Chairman of Sport Kingston and Kingstons second sponsor; and Scott Herbertson Directorate Head of Cultural Services and Lifelong Learning.
Boys Squash - 1st place

The boys squash team received gold medals from Chemmy Alcott and Doug Crawford (both Olympic skiers). Kingston squeezed past Redbridge in the semi-final and the Kingston quartet overcame Bexley in the final.
Boys Hockey - 4th place
The boys hockey team just missed out on a bronze medal going to penalty flicks – they finished 4th.

Archery - 5th place
Archers fired their way into 5th position with a developing squad and some new additions to the team from last years gold winning team. The Worshipful the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Councillor Chrissie Hitchcock and Ian Dobie went down to the arrange to gain some tips from the girls.


Round - up
The athletics team finished in the bottom half of the table this year. The athletics team manager Sash Gordon from Kingsmeadow Athletics Centre commented this year on the huge leap in standard at the games and is keen to get more local school pupils in school year 7-9 along to training sessions on Sundays at Kingsmeadow in the lead up to 2011
The football teams finished in 15th place for the boys and 26th for the girls.
A real learning curve for the Aquathlon team – Vince Howley gathered together strong runners and swimmers to have a go at the Aquathlon.
Cyclists finished in 25th place. Ant and Melissa from RBK Environmental Services Cycle team helped run training and the event
The netball team finished in 17th position only losing out to getting through to the top half of the draw by one goal. Councillors Sharon Hartley and Umesh Parekh showed their support watching the netball games and meeting the team.
