The 2008 Trials will take place on Sunday 16 March at Canbury Gardens Tennis Centre, Lower Ham Rd Kingston
Children in School years 4 and 5 from all primary schools are invited to a 2 hour fun session from 9.00am to 11.00am.
There are open trials for children aged 10 to 14 years; registration is between 10.30am & 11.00am. Trials star at 11.00am.
Children aged 14 to 17 years of age, registration is between 11.30am and 12 noon Trials start at 12 noon.
Following on from this the trial's successful players will be invited to weekly coaching sessions for one hour per week after school and have an opportunity to represent Kingston in Borough wide competitions.
Children have the opportunity to join the scheme any time of year if they miss or are unable to attend the trials through invitation to one of the training sessions where they will be assessed and placed in a group to suit their ability.

SJB Tennis in partnership with The Active Kingston Tean also promote an annual Open Tennis Tournament. The tournament will start on Tuesday 6th May 2008 with the finals taking place on Thursday 17 May 2008. This event will take place at Canbury Gardens Tennis Centre, Lower Ham Road Kingston.
The categories are as follows:
Veterans - Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Adults - Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Wheelchair Event
Boys & Girls
18 years and under - Singles, Doubles
16 years and under - Singles
14 years and under - Singles, Doubles
12 years and under - Singles
10 years and under - Singles
