Active Kingston Card
You can apply for an Active Kingston Card (formerly Leisure Card) if you live in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and you:
- are aged 60 or over;
- receive Jobseeker's Allowance;
- receive Income Support;
- are a full-time student in further or higher education;
- are registered disabled or receive disability benefit; or
- receive Carer's Allowance .
The Active Kingston Card is valid for one year for under 60's and for ten years for over 60's. It allows residents of the Royal Borough of Kingston to enjoy discounts on a wide range of activities at Leisure Centres across the Borough as detailed below.
- Chessington Sports Centre
- Hawker Centre (YMCA)
- YMCA Surbiton
- The Kingfisher Leisure Centre
- Kingsmeadow Athletics Stadium
- The Malden Centre
- Tolworth Recreation Centre
Discounts range from 30% to 70% and discounted activities include gym, badminton, aerobics, swimming and even sauna! The Card costs just £2.00 and on production of proof of eligibility and two passport sized photos you will be issued with your Active Kingston Card.
Existing Leisure Card Holders can use their current purple or orange cards to receive these benefits which started 1 May 2007.
