A new display facility is now being offered to community groups by Kingston Museum.
At the Museum we are aware that local groups often have very little opportunity to display their work on a regular basis. It is not always possible to offer space in the art gallery where all our major exhibitions are planned in advance and may be costly. So a large showcase near the entrance desk is now available to book for short periods free of charge.

Rotary is First
The Rotary Club of Kingston upon Thames is the first to use the facility during February and March to celebrate its 80th birthday. On display is a fine silver commemorative plate, past photographs and a host of posters and programmes demonstrating the Club's contribution to local as well as international charities, including an annual 'Kids Out' trip for special needs schools, and film shows for senior citizens. I am delighted with the display, said Hilary Buzasi, President of the Club, when she visited Kingston Museum. The facility gives us an opportunity to tell residents about all the good work the Club has done in the community over many years.
