Citizenship in Kingston: Stories from the Archives
We
have an online collection of historic documents from the archives of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon
Thames. We have a huge number of documents dating back 800 years and these are just a few of them.
They give us a glimpse of what it was like to be a citizen in Kingston in past centuries. Please
visit our Citizenship in Kingston pages for stories from the archives (see link below).
Kingston at War: World War 2 Resources
- Kingston at War is a web site of resources from Kingston's archives
to support KS2 History with links to Literacy and ICT. The site will also be of interest to the general
reader.
- Photographs, newspaper cuttings, bomb maps and oral histories
have been digitised for classroom and/or project use.
- These web
pages are part of the 'Their Past Your Future' project, 2005, funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
