Kingston Museum often arranges special events for adults and children and has a regular programme of lectures, half term and holiday activities for children of all ages and their families. The Friends of Kingston Museum and Heritage Service also organise a regular lecture programme.

We regularly support Museums & Galleries Month (May), the Archives Awareness Campaign (May and October), National Archaeology Week (July), Heritage Open Days (September), Black History Month and the Big Draw (October).  We also participate in Kingston Town's 'Thumbs Up I'ts Thursday' holiday events during the summer and have a stall  at the annual Surbiton Festival in September.
